Link text, low page count alerts, and dismissing broken links

Three new features make managing your crawl results easier: see the exact anchor text of every broken link, get alerted when a crawl returns suspiciously few pages, and mark individual errors as done.

Anchor text for broken links

Each crawl result now shows the anchor text of the link — the visible text a visitor would actually click. This makes it easy to judge how a broken link is presented on your site without having to open the source page.

If the same link appears multiple times with different anchor texts, all variants are listed. For links without any text — such as image links or links injected via script — the source type is shown instead.

Low page count alert

When a crawl finishes with an unusually low number of pages, a new alert is triggered. This typically points to a crawl issue like a blocked crawler or a redirect at the root level. The alert appears as an indicator on the dashboard and also triggers an email notification. The feature is opt-in and disabled by default — it can be enabled per URL in the settings, where the threshold can also be configured.

Dismissing broken links

Broken links can now be individually marked as done. Dismissed items move to a separate "Done" tab, keeping the main results list clean. The action can be undone at any time. This works for errors and redirects — not for successful items.

Further improvements

  • The auto-scan toggle now shows an inline pulsing dot when active.

  • Clicking a URL in the crawl statistics copies it to the clipboard, and an open-in-new-tab icon was added alongside it.

  • The notification emails have been redesigned with brand colors, domain names in email bodies no longer get auto-linked by email clients, and a logo issue causing a white line in Outlook has been fixed.
